I have worked as a pet portrait artist for over 7 years now, painting anything from frogs to crows, from horses to dogs and cats. Each piece is completed in watercolor and acrylic ink. These are just a few of the 100+ pet portraits I have completed over the years.
I started creating textiles several years ago as a way to give direction and a theme to my sketchbook paintings. I got pretty into it, and my doodles and textiles eventually led to me selling on Spoonflower.com and then later to launching my own dress line , Landfish Apparel.
This work is a mix of commissions and passion projects as well as a few pieces from my sketchbook. My aim is to show my range with the medium and the subject matter I tend to gravitate towards. The quieter moments in life, anything whimsical or fantasy related, and subjects in nature all peak my interest.
I adore the intricacies of line art, and quite a bit of my sketchbook is filled with pen drawings. A natural transition for me was to illustrate complex coloring books. I’ve had the privilege of creating several on a freelance basis, as well as one of my own!
